Scars on PC

I downloaded the new update and was hoping that I would finally get to make my Inquisitor a little rugged with scars, but to no avail. I have changed the mesh quality from medium to high then to ultra to see if the newest update fixed the bug, but his face is still incredibly smooth. Is there any point in the future that I might finally get to put scars on one of my characters? Is that even something that might be worked on?

  • They fixed this months ago. You have to set shader quality to high, not mesh quality. Originally the mesh quality setting also controlled the shader quality, but they split those into two settings.

This might be a dumb question, but are you sure the slider for the scar intensity is set high enough? On it's lowest setting, the scars really are barely visible. If I recall correctly, the scar intensity slider works opposite to what you would think. All the way left is the deepest, most noticeable scars, and all the way right is barely visible.

  • Thanks, I looked other places, but you are the first time I heard about adjusting the shader quantity. Works like a charm now.
