Selling & Crafting help badly needed ASAP! Please

Ok folks since we don't have a chest for which we can store things in like there is in most of the rpg's for which I've played in the past I've got to sell stuff as I'm close to myu max carry capacity. Need to to know

1. What is the DPS on weapons?

2. If an item has a rune<s> or grip can we remove to place it on other items before we sell the item<s>? If so how do we do it.

3. What are the things to look for and determine when trying to determine what to sell and what to keep?

Thanks in advance for any and all help you could give

  • 1. Damage per second. It takes the base attack and the attack speed of the weapon into account (as well as any additional damage)

    2. Near the blacksmith in Haven is a modify weapons station, you can unequip and equip weapon mods like grips and handles.

    3. I'd sell weapons that have lower DPS than the weapons on your characters. As for valuables, I sell all figurines and gems but DO NOT sell the creature research drops. As a rule of thumb, I sell the things in the valuables tab that do not have a discription or do not have a yellow ICON.

DPS is the damage per second a weapon does. That sort of explains it all.

You can remove grips and other add-ons, but not runes. To do so you go to the modify armor/weapon stands (near the craft armor/weapon stands).

Things to look for are, is it better than what you currently have on your rogues/mages/warriors. That means both DPS and extras like %attack, and stat bonuses (like +36 magic on endgame weapons), there are a bunch of different effects that weapons can have (bleed, staggering, %heal, critical damage, critical chance, ...) but I suggest you go to a dragon age wiki somewhere to learn more about that if you're willing.

Ok then where do we get runes from since we can't remove them from one weapon and put them on another? Because if I remember correctly you were able to take them off one and put them on another in DA II.
