When meeting Cauthrien in Arl of Denerim's estate I can attack and kill her just fine, but when I try to surrender using the top dialogue option (1.I will stand down. You don't know the whole story.)...
@ZanirN7S Can you try repairing the game? Perhaps some file or trigger is damaged. If you're using the Origin version of the game, right-click the panel and you'll see this repair option.
Also if you have any mods enabled, try disabling/removing these to test.
