I'm on PC. I think this glitch has something to do with the fact that there are two modes in which you can be in dialogue with NPCs: 1) NPC initiates dialogue, camera doesn't zoom in, walking away breaks dialogue; 2) right click on NPC, camera zooms in. In this case Sky Watcher initiates dialogue, but right clicking won't take you to the second mode.
Yeah, I had a conversation glitch out, I was controlling another party member and dialog initiated, however the camera zoomed out towards main character or something which caused the dialog to break, couldn't reinitalise afterwards.
