Solo game keeps crashing to Dashboard or Home Menu on XboxOne.

Hi!

I have had DA:I for a while now and have played probably about 40 hours+. Last week it started crashing frequently to either the Xbox Dashboard or DA:I Home Menu saying 'Connection has been lost to the session'. This happens particularly during fight sequences but also at random, and I should note that it is not on multiplayer. I have tried numerous solutions given to me by 'Advisors' on EA chat and over the phone (power-cycling my xbox, resetting my wifi etc) and so far nothing has worked. Most interactions I have had with EA staff so far have been hard to understand and not helpful, I was hoping someone else has had some luck with this issue?

  • this sound more like an xbox problem can you repair the game

    btw ea did update yesterday and you was unable to log on

  • @vadoobs As far as I'm aware, repairing the game is only a thing you can do on PC through Origin, it's not applicable to Xbox/consoles. Sorry about that 🙂

    This, unfortunately, is a problem I've seen a few people have (though usually on PC), and I'm not sure I've come across a definitive solution for it. I'm pretty sure it's not a network/internet error (as you're playing in single player mode, and that is not what happens when your internet drops out while you're playing, unless it's different on console), it just appears to be due to the error message. However, just to check, have you tried playing while not connected to the internet, see if that makes any difference? Really, all that should happen is you lose the ability to cloud save or upload progress to the Keep, as long as your DLC is authenticated (if you have any). 
    I'm a computer person, don't really know anything about consoles, so I'm afraid I can't really be more help, I'm sorry. Hopefully someone else can be.
