Nearing the end of a second playthrough and both times I never saw this quest. I just went back to check and indeed, on both playthroughs the "All New, Faded For Her" quest is not present under completed quests. In both games I started the Measuring the Veil/artifact quest through Solas, and in both games it completed after the first artifact.
My first playthrough was a female human mage.
Current playthrough is a female elf warrior romancing him.
Neither received this quest at any point and I talked to all my companions religiously every time I returned to Skyhold.
This is pretty disappointing, since my current playthrough is my Solas romance one and what I thought would be my main save. Heck I didn't even know this quest existed until I saw it on the other forums. Any chance of a fix for this at all? Or some idea how to absolutely avoid it happening? It's important enough to me that I would consider losing 60 hours of playtime to revert to a save before All New, Faded. For Her to see that she can get the quest. But I won't be happy about it.

You can actually progress and complete the romance without doing What Lies Dormant or the artifacts quest, if that helps your decision at all.

If that was towards me, it doesn't. Solas gets a bit shafted in the CS and post-Major Event dialogue department. Missing out on another personal quest and experiencing any conversations it offers is a big deal to me since he quickly became my favorite character. So this has me awful grumpy, finding out at nearly the arse end of the playthrough I started just for him. 😞
I just loaded up the pre-Faded for her save. Literally seconds before we reach the demon. Tried to see if letting him roast the mages changed anything, since I stopped him before. Sadly, it did not. I got the Quest Completed notification for it after returning to Skyhold, but it did not appear in completed quests. If it is related to this tracking thing not happening, that would mean having to go back to my very first Haven save, 5 hours in. I really don't want to do that. Especially if it might not even work anyway. What a drag.

I'm bummed as it is that due to this even my other inquisitors cant get their friendship to shift/make his card change like the other companions. I really hope some one can work something out soon. I know there are other pressing issues but what a let down for solas fans
