I'm and avid fan of the game(s) and I've been re-playing the Dragon Age series up till Inquisition so much so that even if I didn't had a copy of the game, I still played it on my friends PC.
And well with the "The Witcher" Netflix series came out, I would like to suggest Dragon Age to have it's own TV series as well.
It would be great as the narrative of Dragon Age is more than just being part of the fantasy genre, but the complexity of the story itself is quite fascinating.
You may stop reading here as this might be just me being a fanboy of the game, but imagine...
a setting of epic proportions, -- the story of a nobody becoming a Grey Warden, re-uniting Ferelden from the brink of civil war to defeat the blight, then enter a part in Lothering, a foreshadowing for perhaps another season where in Hawke's story will be told by none-other-than Varric, with a couple of back story from Cassandra and of how she became a seeker (a reference from the movie). and perhaps a few spin-off series such as Morrigan's Witch Hunt, Leliana's Song and maybe Sten's Story. coupled in with Duncan and the other Grey Wardens, then a season finale having the Inquisitor together with the Hero of Ferelden and Champion of Kirkwall as teaser! the twists and turns for non(novel reader-comic reader-gamer) like Loghain with his 'betrayal', Marjolaine's secrets or better yet, Solas being the Dread Wolf is unpredictable they'd get hooked! there's so much into the narrative of Dragon Age, it's not just for games and novels it could work as a running TV series!

Since with everything lining up - fantasy genre being pop culture on tv, the projected popularity would be outstanding that it may help with the revenue selling more copies of the first 3 games, as I recall there will be 4th so there's bound to be more!
Anyways, it just hit me this moment as this could be something big, would be a waste if it didn't happen.
I would love a TV show set in Thedas, but I think there will be an over-saturation of fantasy television soon enough. We already have The Witcher, and His Dark Materials, but soon there will also be one or more Game of Thrones spinoffs, a show set in Middle-earth, and The Wheel of Time. These are all based on literature, which to many people (and more importantly Hollywood producers) are more prestigious than video game adaptations, which almost always end up being terrible (the exception being Castlevania). It's difficult to get something greenlit, and even more difficult to get something made. The Mass Effect movie was announced ten years ago, but nothing ever happened with that.
If they decide to produce a Dragon Age TV series, my wish would be for it to be a sort of sidequel, where they don't adapt the story of the games directly. I think something like the novel Dragon Age: Asunder would work well. A story that newcomers can enjoy, but will also add something to the experience of those familiar with the games.
