Sutherland and Company Missing mission not popping up on war table

Same. Very unimpressed, Bioware. I wasted several days waiting for these operations to complete before I start the final quest, and it turns out it was all a huge waste of time, and I could have just finished the game days ago. Severely disappointed. :robotsad:

Unfortunately you can do too much in the Storm Coast zone and it results in them dying. I believe the issue arises in that after rat shows up, Sutherland is now in trouble and the next time you go to the Storm Coast you have to rescue them. It is an actual quest you get when going to the Storm Coast, not an operation. Your group must physically go to them and save them.

However, if you talk to Iron Bull and his personal quest to help the Qunari is initiated, then the next time you go to the Storm Coast you MUST do Bull's quest. This means by the game's logic you went to the Storm Coast and ignored Sutherland and returned to Skyhold, leaving him to die. So you have to do the Sutherland quest before Bull, and for many people these quests tend to pop up around the same time.

Just noticed this...i got this late in the game...completed everything in the stormcoast a while back , did a few war table missions regarding Sutherland that leads to the moment you then come across Rat and speak to her. it says it initiates the war table mission but when i go to find it, it isn't there.  so i cannot progress and finish the missions regarding that character and Rat is just left in the limbo conversation of 'its very high up here, i hope i did enough' or something like that.

Is this a bug? its very annoying considering how LONG some war table missions take to complete! Had the same issue with judging Samson, had to judge him before speaking to anyone or it wouldn't work (major glitch) Is this because of the new DLC??? or the latest patch they (Devs) rammed down our throats?

I had this problem too, and after much fuming reloaded a game save prior to what pride had wrought. Did all companion and related quests and also did none of the dlc's, this seems to avoid bug or glitch.

Welp, I'm having the same issue... I'm late in the game, all my inner circle quests finished long ago. I talk to Rat, and nothing happens. I went to the war table and nothing was there, I even went to the storm coast and nothing popped up. Given the fact that this was posted in 2014 and is still happening, I'm going to guess it was never fixed.

Still frustrating though

Can confirm in 2020 it is not fixed. 🤬

Still not fixed in 2024.
