Switched to controller. M+K are locked out and I cannot switch back...
Started the game out using mouse and keyboard for the first couple hours. These are terrible so I switched to controller(XBox 360). None of the buttons on the XBox 360 controller were recognized so I switched to another controller(XBox One). None of the buttons on this controller are recognized either, though both of these work in other games. For some reason the decision was made to completely lock out mouse and keyboard inputs after change so now I have no way to change back. Already disconnected unistalled both controllers plus my NT52E keypad and the game still will not revert to mouse and keyboard...
Ok, no official response but I did find a workaround on segmentnext.com and will paste it below...
#3 – Dragon Age Inquisition Stuck at “Press Start Button” Screen / Using Xbox One Controller When Keyboard Not Working!
Until Bioware releases a patch that makes Xbox One work properly with Dragon Age: Inquisition, go to documents and find save directory in bioware/dragonageinquisition/.You should find two profile files that you can delete. Deleting these profile files will restart the game from the beginning. When the game starts, you will be able to play with Keyboard / Mouse.
Do note that you can either use Mouse / Keyboard or a Controller, you can’t have both.
