Terrible FPS
In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and...

I'm with you there. I'm well above minimum specs and it's very choppy. I dip into the teens and single digits sometimes, which shouldn't be happening on "medium" graphics settings. I also get texture flickering and strange graphical artifacts flashing around during cutscenes. I suppose the only thing to do is wait for new drivers and game patches.
Sorry for the late reply I stayed up half the night talking to EA tech people and what they said was my computer should run the game just fine and gave me a work around which really didn't help. They said there was something wrong with the game engine and right now there is no fix for this problem. But the good news is they know that a lot of people are having this problem and it should get fixed with an update or patch. I'm sorry I can't be more specific as to when but hopefully soon.
Wouldn't hold your breath. It's rare for games to get fixed post launch, when they do it's usually smaller things and over a long period of time.
Would love to be wrong here though, really hope I am wrong lol.
Don't take this the wrong way but I hope you are wrong. I would like to hope that they plan to fix it because I don't want to be sadled with a game I can't play.
I would also like to clarify when I said update I think the tech people meant drivers. I'm not very sure they were kind of vague.

It was to right click on the game and go to game properties and paste this: -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+
I think it was the same fix for the 30 fps lock during cutscenes. All it did was make everyone run in slow motion. It didn't even really help my problem but it might work for you.
Yeah, I tried that fps uncapping fix last night and it made my game freeze... So no luck there.
