I'm in the same boat as everyone else here. Graphical options seemed to make an impact in the prologue, but as soon as I got into the open world it was as though I was trying to play the game with a Commodore 64. Given that my rating was Ultra+ I can safely assume that this isn't performing as intended. I'm stuck with a buggy but functional Multiplayer while I wait for these folks to fix a completely unplayable campaign mode.
Solvite read man...I said he (the technician) had no frame of reference for the fix but estimated a week-month (I'm guessing similar EA titles with similar fixes take that long).
As for the fix that I previously posted. DO it at your own peril.
I followed the instructions for his fix and now my game is freezing in the main menu...
