11 years agoTerrible FPS
In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and...
Just adding my voice to the fray (yelling into the void one might argue infact). Game is unplayable at present for me, can barely open it and after that am lucky to make it to past the character creator into an exrutiating 15 minute loading screen and stuttery cut scenes, impossibly jerky gameplay and, where along with the eratic background music, the characters appear to be communicating in a primitive form of dubstep. Very sad about this. Indeed, Anders without Ser Pounce levels of sad, Sten without cake levels of dissapointment, Morrigan recieving a gift from Dog levels of annoyed etc.

Nice artwork on the menu screen, really stellar. Love those marching Templars and mages, great fun. Have spent maaaaany an hour staring at it as it chunks along uncertainly in slow motion over the last few days. Not yet convinced it is totally woth the money I payed overall...would love to see some more of the game...you know, beyond this. If possible. I know it is a lot to ask. 😕mileyfrustrated:

Indeed. Someone suggested to me that disabling Origin's in-game overly greatly improves FPS, so if anyone hasn't done that already, do it. I had already done this, however. Someone else suggested I try using Razer Cortex, which is supposed to help boost performance while you play games by disabling non-critical processes and such on the fly (as well as a couple other supposed performance-enhancing things), but this did nothing for me either. However, it may for you, as some folks seem to be having some success with it, one person claiming, in fact, that it did "magical things" to their computer and greatly helped with DA:I's performance. Alas, I am still at 7 FPS. For the love of the Maker, I really just want to play this blasted game. How in the heck is that even close to reasonable when I meet the minimum requirements? Meeting minimum requirements means I should still be able to play the game at the very least on the lowest settings, which is just not the case.
