11 years agoTerrible FPS
In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and...
I'm having this problem too. Game plays like a slideshow. 8fps in Haven and I'm way above min specs.
Turned everything web-related off and still no good and still menu freezing.
Currently running on medium settings just to get even some playability.
I have noticed that the game does not appear to properly utilise my GPU. It runs no higher than about 45% use and the base clock never changes.
Nothing I do seems to make any difference to that...
...anyone found this or any way to sort it?
A small amount of research shows that my GPU remains on the same amount setting/base clock when the game is not running as it is on when the game is running, how is this possible?
As said in another thread. The GPU usage is about 0% when the huge lags occurs (the stuttering would probably more accurate)
I measured 1 frame per 5 seconds on some instances.
And given the fact I have hundreds of games (250+ if you count Steam only, most of them tried on this machine or a weaker version of it) I have high doubts it's driver related. There is a difference between driver optimisation and software not working.
And I'm suprised to see people wanting to bump this "so they don't forget". Seriously ? Do you really believe they didn't know ?
Don't wait too long. Just switch to the next game and come back in a week or a month (some say a year but it's my first mistake since BF3). It's bound to be fixed sooner or later.
