11 years agoTerrible FPS
In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and...
Try this if you have stuttering and bad FPS, it fixed the stuttering and improved FPS a lot for me.
Go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\__Installer\VC
And in the VC folder there is another folder called vc2012 in there is a installer for VCredist 2012 run it and install.
Then in the graphics settings change post processing from high to medium.
This greatly improved performance for me, I still get low FPS in places but the stuttering and massive frame rate drops have stopped after doing this.

I can't believe it, this actually worked for me. I've gone from 8 fps to ~30 fps in Haven, so it's still not great but it's at least playable. Thanks!

Is there any risk though?

This fixed the jumpy framerate for me, i still get massive fps drops around heavily populated areas, though it retains its smoothness.
