In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and it fits all the spec perfectly. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

AMD has launched this beta driver for DAI and Farcry 4 players. They say this driver helps to improve the performance issue. I'm gonna give it a try.
It's playable but definitely not performing how it should be for me.
That cutscene FPS fix didn't do much for me as cutscenes work fine. I noticed whenever I speak to an NPC or exit a cutscene, the issue was at its worst.
So I tried a few things that worked for other games until fixes came around and it HELPED. For one, right click the game's .exe and go to properties. Click the Compatibility tab and Run it as Admin AS WELL AS set it to be run for Windows 7 compatiability (if you are on Windows 8.1).
This definitely took it from bad to reasonable, however I'd still like a fix before I go too far into the game. My comp exceeds their recommended settings and everything is up to date, minimal programs running in the background, etc..
Hopefully some of you find that to help you at least somewhat while waiting for a permanent fix from Bioware.

I run my game in Windows 7, should I set the compatiability to be Win 7 too?
I am not sure if you will even have the option but if you see it there, give it a whirl. I know in 8.1 it doesn't give an option for 8.1.. only Win 8, Win 7, etc..
I'm experiencing this problem as well. I've tried everything suggested, I've disabled origin overylay, updated my Nvidia drivers, launched with and without the 30FPS lock, run the game in compatability mode, and I've tried all combinations of settings in the graphics options.
After installing the latest drivers the game ran 55-63 fps. However, it only did this for about 30 minutes. After that it would bog down to 15 fps. If I set every graphics option to low it would run at 23-25 fps and almost 30 while starring at the ground. The game is unplayable at those frame rates. Everything is very sluggish like the entire game engine is running in slow motion. The menus, animations, but not the audio is going extrememly slow. I'm not even using the tactical camera.
Please release a patch, I can't play the game like this.
Okay, so I'm not the only one, though I'm not sure if it's comforting or further distressing considering you folks sound like you have much better PCs than I do. My PC does, however, meet the minimum requirements for DAI. It does not meet the recommended, however, but I should still be able to play the game since I meet the minimum, yes? This does not appear to be the case, though. Even with every single setting at the lowest it can go/turned off, I can only get an average 7 FPS. That's right, 7 FPS, and that's when in Haven near the beginning of the game. This is terrible. This is beyond terrible. This is unplayable. =/
