The Final Piece quest HUGE bug (I cannot move forward with game)

I bought DA:I game of the year edition for my new Xbox One. I've been playing through the main campaign for a few weeks now, and just got to the quest The Final Piece. After I come out of the first  cutscene dialogue with Morrigan in the Fade, the sound effects shut off, both characters freeze and I can't move my own character. The only thing that moves is the POV camera, not the character control one. I've restarted the game numerous times, restarted my Xbox one numerous times, but it just keeps happening. I can't move forward with the game because of it, and it's extremely frustrating. Got finals going on this week and was just looking forward to squeezing in some last minute DA:I before going into a study induced madness. This seriously sucks! Any help would be much appreciated.
