I recently purchased the Trespasser DLC but am unable to see it on the War Table. I have the different options for my perks, so I'm pretty sure it's installed however I'm not seeing the Golden Nug. I've reinstalled the game, update and DLCs to no avail twice this weekend. Any thoughts on what might be the issue?
Have you beaten the game? Trespasser can only be initiated after finishing the main story.
@rynedee Unless my memory is worse than I thought (entirely possible), the golden nug didn't come with Trespasser, it was included with a patch (along with the wardrobe which allows you to choose from a variety of Skyhold outfits), so if that's not showing up and you're fully patched.... well, that's weird.
If Trespasser is installed and working you should also be able to use the Trials, even from the beginning of a new game. These add more difficulty and challenge to the game if you choose to use them, and (on the PC version at least) can be found in the menu under options, or by selecting the custom difficulty option when you start a new game. This is in addition to the extra options for skill upgrades, which is what I'm assuming you meant by the extra perk options in your original post?
As Fred said, you won't be able to find the thing on the War Table to go to the story part of Trespasser until you've finished the main storyline of the game (and make sure you complete anything else you want to do too, as you won't be able to go back once you go to Trespasser). If you have finished (party and all) and it's not showing up, but the other Trespasser content is, well... that's weird. I would recommend a reinstall, but it seems you've already tried that.
If none of the Trespasser content is showing up in your game it's possible that, like the DLCs on PC, it needs to authenticate. Are you playing while logged in to the DA servers with your EA account? I'm not sure about consoles (if that isn't completely obvious by now), but this is the most common cause of this issue on PC. Generally once you've played at least once while logged in to the servers, the DLC will be authenticated (again, on PC, not sure if this is true for consoles) and you can go back to playing offline or whatever if that's what you normally do. Worth a try, anyway.

Yes, I see the skill upgrades from Trespasser and noticed the Trials in some submenu, that leads me to believe the DLC is installed. I've finished the main story with this character (verified on War Table and in the Journal), was in the process of performing genocide on large, flying amphibians when I stopped playing a year ago. The other DLC worked with no issue, recently as I bought all three at the same time.
I'm current on patches, 1.12 it appears. Like I said I recovered an amulet that was included in the 1.10 update, so I know it's enabled. It's strange. First time I've ever had an issue with an update.
@rynedee Well, that just seems weird. The nug doesn't show up, how about the wardrobe in your Skyhold bedroom? I think they came with the same patch. And parts of Trespasser working, but not the main bit... Are you sure you're looking in the right place for the map marker? I think (it's been a while so I may be wrong) it should be in Orlais, around the same area as... the other Winter Palace mission (my memory is feeling very uncooperative today... Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts?).
I'm afraid I'm really not much help when it comes to consoles, can't really think of anything to suggest to actually help with/fix your issue. Hopefully someone else will have an idea.
