Trial ended after less than two hours of play

Perhaps the game was just paused while the download ran? Unless it's shut down completely, the time will still tick. 

I'm not sure if MS will/can reset the trial timer, but it might be worth checking with them? On the EA end unfortunately there's not much we can do with EA Access, just the individual games. 

That makes sense.  I thought I had exited the game.  So it's a Microsoft issue not an EA one?

I just chatted with EA and they said that you could only play to a certain point in the trial game, not play for 6 hours.  I played for 2 hours and it stopped...said it needed to continue downloading.  Support said that I was just a good player to complete the trial in 2 hours. I'm confused.    Do I get 6 hours of playtime or just a certain point in the game?

Yeah I played for MAYBE an hour, decided to fire it up again today and play some more and it says I have 15 minutes left of the trial... I started playing the game when it was at about 65% complete, but I did exit all the way out when I quit playing last night.  :mansad:

Just seems like someone would help.  EA said to contact MS...MS said to contact EA.  

If you exited all the way out last night, why did it only have 15 minutes left this morning?

I had the exact same problem, on the night of the release (13th) I was installing it to playing point to which I played it for an hour and a half and it froze after sealing that rift in the temple at which point it said to allow it time to install further (it was at 25% then) I left it a while then realised it was wasting my time and turned the trial off to let it install over night. I came back in the morning it said I had 4 hours left yet my account has no available EA Access trial :/ god knows what that's about if I have 4 hours...?

  I have no idea why it would say I only have that amount of time left.  I always quit the application before I shut down my system.  The thing is I just played the game some more and I'm almost certain it was longer than 15 minutes, so who knows what the hell is going on?  Granted I exited and shut down the system and I'm worried now that I will finally be locked out.  Oh well.  The dang use left stick to move and right to look around message tutorial won't go away either, just stays there on the screen.
