it is in my list of owned games in the app, I've owned it for about 10 years, but when i try to download it, it starts then after a few mins i get an error saying i don't own it....I've tried to contact ea, i click on chat but no one ever enters chat...I've wait sometimes about an hour....anyone have any idea what to do?
so anyone who tells me to go use ea chat is wasting their time...there must be something else to do...

I'm afraid it'd be best to continue trying to contact our live support team, as we can't directly support account-related requests here on the forums. An advisor would be able to look into your account and investigate. If you're still having trouble connecting with an advisor, please try using a mobile hotspot and a private or incognito window to see if that helps.
In the meantime, it might be worth checking your Order History page to see whether you previously purchased Dragon Age Origins or were accessing the game through a subscription, such as EA Play or Xbox Game Pass, that has since expired or requires reauthentication.
