Unable to Access DLC after Purchasing

Heya, So i've recently decided to buy the game through steam after playing it through the EA play sub service. Problem is, after i purchased the game of the year edition during a steam sale, i could no longer access my saves due to an error saying ''Unable to load save data as Required'' (See attached image).

I've contacted EA support and tried every troubleshooting method - so far the only solution being replacing the ProfileOptions  file in the savegames folder. which allows me to finish said saves with all the DLC in offline mode. But the issue with this now is that i can no longer access dragon age keep since going online immediately breaks this

So now that i'm trying to start a new game, i can't actually create a new world state to switch up my playthrough entirely, or i have to play without any dlc at all

Is there anything i can do to fix this? i'd really like to use the Dragon age keep service!

EA live support hasn't been able to give me any answers and Steam support has been equally unhelpful

    Yeah, i've tried both the method of moving the Profileoptions file into another folder to generate a new version of the file on startup, which didn't work at all

    And then the Fix which involves downloading another ProfileOptions which works. Doing this allowed me to access the DLC and my old saves, so long as i didn't log back into the dragon age servers, in which case it immediately begins showing the same error in the aforementioned image.

    Its mainly a problem since it locks me out of using both the DLC and Dragon age keep world states

    Yeah, I get it. Do you use this file or do you use the Nexus Mod?

    Can't you not upload a new world state > go offline > reapply the modified "ProfileOptions"?

    What happens if you set the "ProfileOptions" to read only?

    Heya, sorry for the late reply. ended up trying some different things but gave up eventually

    I came back to it wanting to try something slightly differently to see how it would work, what i did was uninstalled the game, signed up for the EA play sub service again. Then i reinstalled the game through the EA Desktop app and its worked, and allowed me to go online, using the dragonage keep. problem is this is only temporary as it seems its only going to work properly so long as i'm subscribed to the EA play service, and only have it installed using the EA app

    best thing i can do for now is create a bunch of new characters with different world states that i plan on using before the sub runs out 😇

    @WattsonsBaguette Yo, mod uploader here. Once your game is bugged, it seems to be permanent. So, yeah, either play with the Keep or the DLC, but doesn't seem like you can do both. Sorry, mate!
