I just picked up DA Inquisitions for my Daughter, however, she is unable to install it from the disks. It is a huge download from Origins and we only have a small amount of transfer per month with our ISP. I need to be able to install it from the disks, and not the crappy Origins Download. Does anyone know how to do this??? It is completely moronic to sell you a full retail set of disks if you can't use the things...
My problem is it won't install beyond 82%

i thought i had the download problem too BUT the installation from the cd started after i clicked the dl button in the update window

I have a similar problem.
I have purchased the 4 disk Deluxe Edition of Dragon Age Inquisition for PC. I have attempted to install it twice now. It launches Origin then when I click “continue” it goes from disk 1 through disk 4 and then just holds with no completion. The Origin screen displays Dragon Age Inquisition Digital Deluxe. I didn’t purchase this for download because I didn’t want to spend the time and bandwidth monitoring that big of a download. I have suspended my virus scanner, stopped any other programs from running, and checked the forums for similar issues with no success. I have DAO and DA2 still installed on my system, do I need to uninstall them? Any help would be appreciated. I’ve been looking forward to playing this game for a while now and this is very frustrating!
System Specs: Dell XPS 8300 desktop running Windows 7 Pro/SP1; Intel(R) Core™ i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz; RAM 12.0G; 64-bit OS; AMD Radeon HD 6700 series display adapter; all drivers are up-to-date; over 1.5T of space available on HD.
I'm getting this error when I try to intall
Error : The VC++ runtime resdistrutable package was not install successfully. Set up cannont countine (-2114715647)

EDIT I got around this now by isntalled the VCC files directly off the disc then installing the game again.
Hey guys , I found it was my origin folder (not games) that had the problem, uninstalled it
then booted it from the disc, reinstalled it from disc, and updated.
and now my Dragon Age Inq is installing perfectly fine!! 🙂
If I autorun then Origin fails on it's install so I get origin running by downloading and unzipping from https://download.dm.origin.com/origin/beta/OriginUpdate_9_3_2_2730.zip. If I try to run from the disk again it breaks origin again. Only option is to download from the working orign client which is what I wanted to avoid by purchasing the disks.
Please provide an option to install components separately.
The download was complete but had errors and would not run. Found the application file C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition and the newly created origin install C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin. I copied my original working desktop:/OriginUpdate_9_3_2_2730 files overwriting everything C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin. I could start origin but a OriginClientService file was missing when I hit download again. I found the file and started the download again but it is now installing from the disc.
I tried everything on the list so far, but nothing has worked. Can't read the first disc at all. Another "gem" by America's worst company. Literally, EA was voted America's worst company.
I'm getting a message that says: "Your download has been paused, Origin needs to install files and is waiting for permission. Please choose Yes when Windows prompts you for permission" But I never get a prompt from Windows, and I'm running Origin as an admin, so I'm not sure what permission it needs just to install from disk. I didn't have Origin before this, am I just missing something really obvious here? I've tried reinstalling Origin several times, restarted my computer several times, Origin is not running in compatability mode, so I'm at a loss. If anyone can offer insight, I'd really appreciate it.
