Unlootable item in the ground during Hushed Whispers quest.

Any luck finding a fix for this? And does anyone know if EA/Bioware have said anything yet? This is ridiculous...

I have looked all over. There is no response from bioware or ea. And that for a quest which renders the game unplayable. This is unacceptable

what i am supposed to do then?

  Your best bet would be to load a save before that either that loot item dropped or before you entered redcliffe castle if possible
