Velanna's Exile/Other Dragon Age Questions

I know literally everybody has done everything to get this quest to trigger but I have some questions anyways because I want to have the perfect file to import into DA:II to hopefully import into DA:Inquisition. And yes I know you can force it for PC but I'm on a console and have no intention of buying it for the PC so don't mention that.

So question 1: Does it matter if you play on the Awakening disc or the UE disc?

2: Does anybody know a moderater for Awakening that might be able to know how to specifically trigger the quest?

3: Same as 1 but for consoles? I'm on the PS3.

4: Anybody record a playthrough that has triggered this quest?

5: Can I go from using the UE disc to Awakening disc?

I've been trying this for years and I have yet gotten it once. Please share any insight you may have on your experience.

Dragon Age Origins Awakening - How to Trigger Velanna's Exile Quest

    Published on May 28, 2012

This one of the the buggiest and trickiest Quest to Trigger since it's a random Encounter.

Make sure you've activated "Trade must Flow", since you can't go back to the mines once it's completed.

    1. Start The Righteous Path First (Do not Go to Blackmarsh or Knotwood Hills yet.)
    2. When in Wending Wood, Do not loot Elven Trinket from the Darkspawn. (You can loot in the mines.)
    3. Travel to Knotwood Hills When Exiting the Silverite Mine.
    4. If done correctly a Random Encounter will happen that will start Velanna's Exile Quest.

If the Random Encounter spawns you in either Canyon Road or Burning Bridge, Your game has glitched and you must Reload a previous Save to try again.

It's not a sure thing. The quest is very buggy.

    Also try:

    1. Sigrun Recruitment Quest (First)

    2. Velanna Recruitment Quest (Second) (Do not Loot anything in the forest)

    3. Head back to the City than head back to the Fort. When heading to the fort the quest will trigger.

^ This method works 9 out of 10 times. The only time I wasn't about to get it to trigger was when I was married to Anora and Alistair was exiled.

    Good Luck!
