vivienne missing knight enchanter skill tree

I just got Vivienne, but she is missing the skill tree for knight enchanter. I over looked the mission to recruit her till late. WHen I got to skyhold afterwards, I went to level her up. But she is missing the icon for the book for the knight enchanter in the skill tree menu for her character. The other mage books are there, but her specialization isn't there. Perhaps this is cause I got her after my main character and every other companion got there specialization?

I've tried saving and reloading, but my acquiring the specialization for my main character is hours past and don't have a save for before to test that.

Is there a way to manually add that specialization to her by console command as a workaround?

Try taking her out into the field and putting her in your party

That worked! Just had to take her out to one of the fields and the skill tree was there. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you gotten to Skyhold yet?

From memory, I think specialization only kicks in when the 3 specialists arrive at Skyhold (and after the inquisitor hits a min level of 14/15ish) and the inquisitor is offered the choice of choosing one, and thereafter the followers only have their own specialization trees unlock and become selectable as they each hit level 14 or 15 in turn.

There isn't a min level for specializations, you can possibly cheat your way to unlock the specializations about at level 7-8-bearing in mind that you arrived at Skyhold& completed the operation. And hencethe companinons also get their specs when you start your own specialization quest, you don't even need to finish it.
