War Table Bug, Advisor Missing

And I’m not about to restart the game since I’m about 50 hours into it!

Yup same problem, only it's Cullen thats MIA for me. Restarting is not an option since im 45 hours into the game. I agree with the OP, seemed to happen after I did Bull's mission with the chargers. Does anyone have a fix? Im on PS4 if that helps. 

Sadly my Leliana is gone too and I need to get my specialization trainers....sadly no fix there may be a patch after EA/Bioware figure out the Direct X issues but until then I doubt they are in much of a hurry.....they did release a highly anticipated game in this almost beta state.....

Same problem, same conditions.

Sent Leliana on a rather lengthy 8-9 hour mission and after completing Bull's Chargers v. Dreadnought quest the blinking "in progress" icon is missing from the war table and cannot reassign her due to her being "on mission". I'll wait until after her mission is supposed to be finished then report back. Not holding my breath.

Luckily I saved just before the chargers mission but I still have about 3 hours of playtime after that in my current save. 

Not my only problem with Bull's mission btw. During the final cutscene with the dreadnought Gatt and his dialogue were missing and Bull was responding to no one. The issue was resolved when I changed party members and did the mission again. 

Not pleased with the amount of bugs and crashes in the PC version thus far.

so I actually got someone in live chat who helped me fix this issue

1 Go into file explorer and under the view have it show hidden files.... then go into these locations and delete the origin folders

C:\ProgramData

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming

afterwards relaunch Origin as administrator, go under the origin tab and go to application settings, origin in game tab and disable origin in game and start the game....it will freeze and crash the first time you start the game do not worry.....reopen the game after the crash and go into your save (use the cloud data) and your advisor will return

Deleted the folders, ran as administrator, no crash, and things are exactly as they were. No joy here

Did a little more googling and its a common issue. You need to be in good standing with the quanari for this quest line to be completed. If Bull is exiled the quest line is no longer available and your agent will return when the timer expires (even though you have no way to tell how long they have left).

Just an oversight on Bioware's part to not return the agent immediately.

Oh I forgot one last thing sorry my fault when you open origin after deleting the folders under the origin tab go to application settings then Origin In Game and disable Origin in game I apologize for forgetting this part but I did this and the mission "Identify the Venatori Agent" reappearewd and I got Leliana back stating "Because of Iron Bull's exiled status this mission is no longer feasible"

That doesn't work for me.

Leliana has now been missing since yesterday afternoon...and I need her for Calpurnias quest.....

After waiting 18 hours I decided to use a TARDIS on my PC.

Make sure no other advisors have quests on war table.

Exit game. Set Origin to offline, but do not exit.

Change computer clock to year 2024 as administrator

Run game, and clear Lelianas mission that caused the glitch.

Do not take any missions. Save game.

Exit game but not Origin

Reset computer clock to year 2014.

Enjoy game again!
