Yeah, they definately need something to compliment the current healing options in the game. Sure I can manage to get through an area with my 2 HP pots per player, but thats not the issue. The problem is that its getting really old having to fast travel back to camp every 10 minutes then walk back where I had made progress to. Its a total immersion breaker for me. There could be faster natural healing over time while not engaged in a fight. There could be some minimal healing skill. We could carry more potions. There could be scattered resupply boxes in the wilderness. There could be a pet that healed us when we arent fighting. There could be scattered herbs that we can eat directly for some minimal healing. We could heal when we are riding a horse. Honestly, it doesnt matter how we heal, but we need the ability to stay in the field longer without coming back to the base camp every few minutes. Its bad enough having to empty the inventory all the time, but inventory management + potion management is just too much to deal with and stay "connected" to the game.

I totally agree to this. While I personally would like to have proper healing system implemented back, we need at least somthing in its replacement. Running back and forth is annoying to say the least.

we see simplifying in all games these days. casuals is the key-word.
