Why doesnt Dragon Age Inquisition recognize any of my PC controllers?

Hi, All my other new games recognize all three of my PC controllers. Why doesnt Dragon Age Inquisition recognize any of my PC controllers? What do I need to do so that Dragon Age Inquisition will recognize my PC controllers? Will there be a paid add-on to fix this issue? Thanks.

  • Can you specify what brand and model of controllers they are? They need to have Xinput support.

It's also advisable to only have one controller plugged in.

I own and have tried Microsoft XBOX Controller for Windows, Logitech 310 (tried both xinput and dx modes) and one made by SteelSeries. They all work without issue in my other games, like Witcher 3 and MGS5 TPP. Ive completely uninstalled and reinstalled DAI with no luck. Its just a * poor implementation. And theres no reason I should jump through hoops when all my other games such as GTA5 and Wolfenstien have ZERO issues. Im not gonna unplug this or delete that or bury something at midnight under an old oak tree during the next full moon. Its not a problem on my end. Its a 100% BiowEAr issue. (and EA's boat anchor Frostbroke engine is no doubt the root cause)
