Why won't dragon age inquisition install from my dvd?

i just got home from work and my copy of dai has arrived, so i put the first disk in my computer and started trying to install. the first step it gives me is to log into origin and type in my key there. for some reason origin thinks i have the DIGITAL deluxe version, but i have the physical copy, and i want to install the game off of the dvds that it came with, not to mention i'm pretty sure there is some extra stuff that only comes with the physical copy just like there is some extra stuff that only comes with the digital version. someone please help.

disregard this, i figured out the problem, part of the installer got burried under the other windows i have open and i didn't notice. although i still would like to know why origin thinks i have the digital deluxe version when i in fact have the dvd deluxe version.

I had a problem installing my copy of DAI from DVD too, maybe this helps:

I had Origin installed on my D:\ drive. I uninstalled it and then started the Autorun.exe on the DAI installation disc.

It then starts to install Origin. I used the standard installation folder C:\Program Files\Origin\.

After updating and loging in the installation of DAI started FROM THE DVD!

Dumbest thing ever, but yes, this worked for me too.  It *defaulted* to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origins and then wouldn't install.  When I manually set it to c:\Program Files\Origins it started installing.

    Thanks for the tip!

No thanks to the most apathetic programmers in the industry at EA.
