Hello. I just finished Dragon Age 2 and I realized I had never met or recruited Fenris. He never showed up in my game and I never got a quest for him. Will this affect my gameplay in Dragon Age Inquisition?
@happyhappyballoo; It will not affect things at all. Not only does he not appear in DA:I, he is not even mentioned.
I think one returning character mentions him once (if you ask about Hawke's companions), but that's about it.
In DA2, Fenris is recruited in the act 1 mission "Bait and Switch", in case you ever want to do another playthrough. If you missed this quest, it's likely because you didn't read your letters on Gamlen's writing desk.

That's right! If you ask, Varric will catalog what Hawke's companions are up to these days. About Fenris he says he's, "... hunting down Tevinter slavers. You can usually find him by following the trail of corpses." or something like that. 🤓
