WTF? I'm done.

Must be dozens of saves gone today. 15-20 hours of play.

I have been grinding to make the most OP team in the history of the game.

Weapons over 410 DPS...The heaviest of heavy armor on everyone.

Days worth of gathering and crafting and hundreds of thousands of gold coins spent.

I continue the game today and I'm tossed into a Powerpuff Girl nightmare of squishy POS idiots.

Seriously game?

@mckrackin5324 In future, take care to note the dates/times when you get a message about cloud and local saves being out of sync, this often catches people out and causes them to lose progress. Creating backups of your local saves every now and then wouldn't hurt, either 😉 Losing that much progress can be extremely frustrating.
Anyway, glad you seem to have gotten back to where you were. 😉

  • You don't happen to have 'berserk' on some items, do you? That turns characters into glass canons.

More info would certainly help, such as platform, items equipped, and a more accurate description of what you mean by 'POS idiots'. Is your equipment bad? Do your characters act like idiots and run away?

All Heavy armor might be part of the problem. Those give great warrior stats and bonuses but, you're taking the magic and willpower form mages and cunning and dexterity from rogues.

Kitty's Collar is known to affect Archers badly and having Berserk on equipment makes the wearer take more damage.

IMO the OP team runs Decent weapons and Trespasser armor for their class. Black Emporium or trespasser accessories and, Weapons and Armor are crafted after doing JoH.

Sorry...what I mean exactly is that my whole team went from level 24 to level 14 overnight. lol

At the level 14 time of my playing,I hadn't come close to learning how to build a character.

Evidently I'm not done though since I was up all night grinding the team back to level 24.hahaha

To get that far in one playthrough,I had to spam the heck out of the skip button and somehow I lost Blackwall for the Tresspasser mission.

I would love some tips on a Cassandra tank.

Cassandra never takes any damage but I don't think she deals any out either.

Vivienne does her job but I'm blinded in a blizzard half the time now. I swear, that girl...I'ma take her toys from her. lol

Sera is a beast but wastes her Thousand Cuts (or focus in general) so I disabled it and control her myself now to get first strike with TC myself.

Then I switch back and use my own TC for a follow up.

Everyone is above 300 DPS on their armor.

Sera and I have dual daggers with 513 DPS and 470 DPS. Would be awesome to carry two of the same dagger. But alas....

The Highland Ravager and her neighbors all fell in about 4-6 minutes...I started there.

The other dragons were very easy and squishy...had their hind legs gone in a minute and beat them to death where they lie.

Dragonlings are all dead in one hit now.

The Fade Rifts were tough in Hakkon. So many things there can one hit kill me (from level 15 to level 19).

I'm on to Tresspasser now and I made a mistake with the very first spirits..."we mean you no harm"  is obviously a very threatening thing to say to them.

They helped me on my first play but were among my worst nightmare foes on my second. hahaha

So yeah...a little help with Cassie please.

With Cassandra, she needs the best weapon and, stagger and/or sunder on her armor or weapon. Both if she is the only one with it in the party. She is a true tank, she can hold agro well and keep the mobs busy but, her job is not to do massive damage, it's to keep you from being damaged while you kill whatever she aggros. I like setting her to follow herself then, attacking whatever she taunts with the rest of the party set to defend me.

That lets me kill what she draws and, has the rest keeping me from dyeing if other enemies attack me.

As for Vivienne, I prefer her as a storm mage with upgraded static cage preferred. Solas is my ice mage and, unless I am going after something that is immune to fire, I don't use him. Dorian is my all element single target DPS mage/ spirit (barrier) mage since I prefer Inferno for myself.
