[Xbox] Dragon Age Inquisition crashing On Launch

@wardencdrlexa@Ronnet You may want to try what I did above in post #23. My game was behaving exactly like yours. Launching with a different account and changing accounts from the main menu has (so far) allowed me to continue to play the game. You will need to either have a disc copy or play on your home xbox in order for this to work, since you need to start the game with your main account signed out.

Has anyone found a fix for if you own a digital copy and you're not on home xbox?

I was playing the game for a few hours and now i am getting this problem. 

I've tried everything suggested in the recent posts and nothing seems to work. 

Will this problem ever be fixed or have I wasted money on a game that doesn't work

I've been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition recently through XBox Game Pass Cloud Gaming. I have logged about 30 hours in the game, and as of a few days ago, the game will no longer load. Every time I try to play, it will crash and kick me back to the Game Pass home screen. After some basic searching online, I read that it is an issue when the game connects to the Dragon Age servers. There seems to be a number of people with this issue and no resolution.

I tried installing the game directly on my Xbox One. If I am logged into my profile, the same thing happens. When I start the game, it will crash and kick me back to the Xbox home screen. However, if I am logged out of my profile, I am able to start the game, and it loads to the screen where the mages and templars are marching to the Conclave. When I try to access the menu, it then asks me to sign in to my profile. The moment I sign in, it shows a message that it is connecting to the Dragon Age servers and then crashes.

So, this is definitely an issue with the game loading my profile/save file.

Is there any way to resolve this? I really enjoy the Dragon Age series and was planning to finish Inquisition before the release of Veilguard. Even if my save file is somehow corrupted, I can't even start over or load an earlier save because the game just crashes. It is completely unplayable for me. Is there a way to resolve this or somehow roll my profile back to an earlier save?

Hey, @striderkaaru This was brought up a few times with Xbox in general. With DA: TV going on right now, this one has taken a back seat on priority. It does end up syncing and fixing itself. Each time I see this happen, and it does happen to me, I give it time and come back to the game later.

There haven't been any steps that stop the game from crashing sadly that I could find for players. 

Thanks, @EA_Shepard. So, it looks like the only solution right now is to wait and check back every so often. That's not ideal, but I guess there's nothing else I can do. Thanks!

I have had the game for about a week and still does not work. I see that the workers get no problems at all with loading in. They see that a lot of players are having problems, shouldn’t that be looked into? Of course you will have no problem getting into the game. The company will prioritize the workers experience and not the game base. This should be a sign to look into why the game itself does not work. I have tried every solution with no avail.

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window. 

@DustyRaccoon7  The only fix that you could try then is to try to leverage quick resume.

Some people have said they were able to get it to work by immediately launching another game as soon as the initial splash screen goes away and they see the loading icon.

Then go back to Dragon Age and it should pick up where it left off with quick resume (and maybe work)
