Well EA support emailed me these steps to attempt to resolve the issue, unfortunatly I decided to try reinstalling before they sent them so I can't tell you if they will work. I am still reinstalling, I'll ppost back and let you know if that fixes it.
Anyway these were EA's suggestions:
-Restart the console, modem and router for 15 seconds.
-Clear the system cache.
THIS WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAPPEN BY RESTARTING THE CONSOLE.
-Clear the local saved games.
SETTINGS-SYSTEM-STORAGE-CLEAR LOCAL SAVED GAMES. YOU WILL NOT LOSE ANY INFORMATION.
-Delete and re download your gamer tag.
SETTINGS-OTHER PEOPLE-REMOVE ACCOUNTS-DELETE YOUR GAMER TAG. THEN ADD NEW PROFILE AND RE SYNC YOU ACCOUNT WITH YOUR MICROSOFT PASSWORD AND USERNAME.
Thanks for contacting EA support team. Have a good one.
I tried the first one, clearing the system cache, before I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, so that one on its own won't fix the issue. I dunno. I'll post back with an update when my install finishes again.
These are the steps I took...
- Shutdown my Xbox One and pulled the power from the back.
- Restarted my internet modem.
- Restarted my internet router
- Plugged power back into Xbox One, went into settings and cleared local save data.
- Deleted my Gamer Tag from my Xbox One
- Re-added my Live account back to Xbox.
Same exact problem... "Downloading Data. Please Wait..."
All these steps for nothing!
Please let me know if re-installing the entire game fixes your problem. Also I wanted to ask if you have an External HDD that you use to store the game/save data on for your Xbox One? Also did you buy physical or Digital? I have a physical copy, but downloaded the digital during the EA Access 6 hour trial before I received the game.
Thank you,

Update Zicious:
Uninstalling and then reinstalling did not fix the problem. /sadface
I am not using an external HDD, only the internal one that my day one Xbox One came with.
I got the pre-order digital deluxe version from the Xbox Store.
I have not downloaded EA access, so I did not play the demo/trial version.
Not sure what to do next with your attempts not solving the problem either.

Were any of you ever able to fix the problem? I am having this issue now. I noticed you all made your post in November and with today being December 9th, 2014, I am hoping you all were able to achieve a fix for this issue so I can hopefully fix my game.
