Xbox One - Press Menu Button Freeze - DO SOMETHING!

Problem: While playing, the save game icon in lower right corner constantly on spin for over 30 minutes. This left me unable to save my game because the save game option had the "lock graphic" on it....

I'm having the same problem at the press menu screen.  Tried the suggested fixes, ( restarting, rebooting)  but no success.  So I tried to play other games and they won't load either.  They behave the same (game screen pops up but the game doesn't load).   Anybody else able to play other games?
