Hi all,
I have a few concerns about the upcoming Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
the gameplay trailer leaves a lot to be desired if the YouTube comments are to be listened to.
my biggest gripes are the combat, lore and art style. The combat appears over the shoulder style not dragon age like at all. The lore is not in continuity with the previous games, the pride demon, the darkspawn, they are all neon Christmas treeās not dark and gritty at all.
the art style is also not In line with previous games, as there is no blood or gore and the darkness is overwhelmed by sparkly effects and vibrant colours.
my BIGGEST gripe is the mispronounciation of Neve. Itās not pronounced āNevā like Neville itās pronounced Neeve with emphasis on the āeeā sound as itās an anglicised version of the Gaelic āNiamhā pronounced this way. My daughter is Neve and I know that Nev is not the way to pronounce it.
I know itās early development, but I would like to see these things fixed in the game.
Please listen to the community before you ruin the dragon age lore and games.

Iām not buying this even if they paid me to take the game. Itās really upsetting because I love Dragon Age. 100% every achievement on the Xbox and played the heck out of it on the PC,
they need to scrap it and start again. Breast surgery scars and flat head qunari? Go woke and go broke. Donāt change character design on decades old series either.
You mean the character design that was changed in every game of the series?
(Something you would know if you "I love Dragon Age. 100%".)
And could you please enlighten me on how the things you listed effect you in any way?
No one is forcing you to use the breast surgery scar option or to play as a Qunari, nor are they taking anything away from you.
