Also, the 2 companions format. Four people is the staple of an adventuring party. Not three. Trying to Mass Effect Dragon Age's system in some pathetic attempt to "reach younger audiences" was very very stupid. EA doesn't get RPG. They should lose Custody of the game.
I emphatically agree. Dragon Age is supposed to be dark fantasy and 100% NOT FOR CHILDREN.
It's clear by what happened with DAV that EA has no respect for players nor the game itself. They should sell it. Offer it to Larian. We'd get something unique in the franchise but Larian respects players, the money and time they invest in their games, and they would respect Dragon Age itself. EA's impression that DA fans so stupid we'd buy any trash they slapped the DA name on is offensive.
I'm not sure even Bioware has much respect for either. They were too busy making an agenda advertisement after sitting on trying to make it a live service game for too long. The whole DAV situation has fostered a bit of hate within me for both EA and BW, and it pisses me off that Mass Effect, a game that I think is vastly overrated, gets more attention and care.
