Dragon Age: The Veilguard character returning to default

Was returning to a save when I noticed that my character looked like the default setting that was used to create him in character creation. It is not returning to the one I created and it's becoming increasingly annoying because I go into the menu and it shows him as he should be. What the heck happened? How do I get him back? I hate running around and seeing him in cutscenes, he looks incredibly goofy with no hair.

    Hi @Azure_Dreams1, Can you try loading your last save, or a save before this happened and checking if your character returned to normal? If not you can make some changes with the mirror at the light house.

    Loading the save and/or using the mirror isn't a real fix because this problem happens just about every time I load the game. Also, I tried to use the mirror and any changes I made would just revert after I confirmed everything and returned to the game. There's something wrong with the character creator.
