It's not the protection I care about, it's the fashion. Armors in Inquisition already morphed into different-looking things depending on who wore them, it wouldn't be too out there for helmets to gain some holes for the horns
Suspect the problem would be that as the horns come in different sizes and locations, the helmets would need holes in different sizes and locations making it really complicated.
Cool though as it would be.
They could at least have Qunari "wear" helmets via the transmog. Could explain the clipping as the helmets being kind of "illusions" or something like that
