Faction strength gain? The Mourn Watch and the Veil Jumpers

Don’t know if this is an issue or not or if this just wasn’t implemented.

When you go around the Necropolis and fix things in regards to the restless spirits and undead, you can see the Necropolis calm down and people returning to the Necropolis Halls, but you don’t gain any Faction Strength. These aren’t marked quests, it’s things you find as you explore the Necropolis, but should you be able to agin Faction Strength from those actions?

Cause you can find some hidden Quests/Mysteries in Arlathan Forest and gain Faction Strength for the Veil Jumpers for some of them. Just wondering if this is supposed to be the same for the Mourn Watchers when you deal with the restless spirits and undead in the Necropolis?

I am playing on PS5 and the current patch is Patch 1.000.004

It would be nice if they would allow faction and companion increases for all kills\quests, especially kills of faction enemies outside of quests.

My last (and final) playthrough was a completion run and while I was able to get all the factions to max with a combination of quests and selling valuables, I was unable to max out companions. I was only able to find one area in the crossroads to farm faction and companion rep, and that only worked for the two monster hunters and their factions, none of the others. We really need additional monsters to farm in order to be able to hit 100% on all factions and companions without the level of min\maxing party composition I believe it might take, if it's even possible.

Agree with you that it would be nice if they allowed factions strength and companion approval increase for defeating enemies outside of quests and as you said, when we kill the factions enemies outside of quests

But think it would be more appropriate if they where more like small camps that you could destroy/kill and then you bring the companions that seems appropriate for that enemy you defeat

Know that there are some instances where it’s like this, but think that there could be more and they should maybe be more obvious

Wish it was the same with the Caretaker, you can still find so many mementos even after you’ve maxed them out and they still give power. Wish you could use the power on the Lighthouse or the Crossroads too

Wish honestly there was more to do with the Factions, the Lighthouse, The Crossroads and the Caretaker too
