[Feedback] No Separate Aiming Inversion

Hello,
this is about a basic accessibility setting that the game lacks.

The game doesn't have separate inversion for the aiming, there's only two settings called simply "Invert Y-Axis" and "Invert X-Axis". I play with inverted camera and non-inverted aim and therefore need separate inversion for the aiming. The normal camera inversion also can't affect anything else, such as map scroll or target switching. You can read about the issue here.

There is separate sensitivity for the aiming, but not inversion.

So you should add two more settings and rename the ones you have so that you have "Invert Camera Y-Axis", "Invert Camera X-Axis", "Invert Aiming Y-Axis" and "Invert Aiming X-Axis". This should be available for both mouse and controller. Again, make sure that normal camera inversion does not affect anything else.

See these images from Dragon's Dogma II, Rise of the Ronin, The Last of Us Part II and the just released Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered as examples of what I mean.

Bumping this as I still need it to play the game.

Another bump. You could also rename the inversion settings to use horizontal/vertical naming:

    -Invert Vertical Camera
    -Invert Horizontal Camera
    -Invert Vertical Aiming
    -Invert Horizontal Aiming

Again, make sure that each setting only affects what the name indicates. Also rename "Vertical/Horizontal Sensitivity" to include "Camera", so "Vertical/Horizontal Camera Sensitivity". The sensitivity settings could hence be named:

    -Vertical Camera Sensitivity
    -Horizontal Camera Sensitivity
    -Vertical Aiming Sensitivity
    -Horizontal Aiming Sensitivity

So eight settings for controller and eight for mouse (so 16 in total). Those 16 settings should be in all third-person 3D games with some sort of aiming (and more for sniper sensitivity and other things for games that have it).

Thank you for your valuable feedback! We greatly appreciate your suggestion on adding and renaming settings to improve the camera and aiming controls. We'll pass it on to the team so they can check it out and continue making the game even better for everyone!

    Cheers!

A bump after the last patch since I seemingly can't post in the patch thread.

The patch 5 thread. Seems to be locked. Could you perhaps tell the devs once again that this is needed so that players can actually play the game? Also suggest an option on PC to manually change controller prompts (Xbox/PS).
