This is a screenshot of what has happened with me experiencing a similar issue. I accidently stumbled into the vault while the game was bugging out on me and put the crystals in when I wasn't on the quest. Now it won't let me proceed further into the quest because the crystals were already in.

I tried to upload a video but the file size was too big. Even for a 26 second video it won’t let me upload it 🤦♂️
I’ll try cutting the videos in half I might of also done what he did with the power crystals. Can I email you the video because I tried cutting the video into two 13 second videos and that wouldn’t upload either smh….
I have run in to this bug now as well I can send u my save file if u like I am right at the quest
