It works as normal, thats how I purchased Inquisition ten years back on the release day. Thats the only option for Vielguard as well, or wait for the Third party Global Keys and lose the Preorder bonus.
- @kampori I don't have another credit card other than my local one, will this even work?
- @kampori It was actually the EA support staff who had suggested this to me back during Inquisition.
Will look to buy this via steam only considering there won't be denuvo (hopefully since steamdb has a history listing that says it was removed and also that the game is playable offline) rather than on EA. If you are using VPN
Steam - Buy through a new Account. They tend to ban accounts if you take advantage of their regional pricing.
EPIC - Impossible. Need a country Specific Credit Card. Even Paypal is out of question.
EA App - Use Paypal and purchase. It Works!- @velvetassasin do you have any idea if i wanna buy it through steam if it also requires a country specific credit card?
Yes, you need country Specific Credit card, or buy steam gift card for that country in third party sites or try using paypal. Be careful not to use your main account though.
- PayPal is not available in Turkey either xD.
- @velvetassasin sadly can't make an account with a vpn, steam detects it 😭this sucks

EA App - Use Paypal and purchase. It Works!Others have mentioned problems with these methods, but we shouldnt be forced to find loopholes to give away our 60 dollars to a company thats worth billions when they are not even willing to adress the issue one way or another. At this point Im pretty happy with not being allowed to buy after watching the high level combat footage theyve released, they accidentally helped me from making a regretful purchase based on 10 years of pent up hype.
- @brogamer70 Sorry for the slow reply, was busy playing Outlaws 😅 for me it worked fine on the EA launcher. There was a PayPal option, but I added my current (new) debit card and it worked fine also. It set my country to NZ for the billing address but changing it to the UAE didn’t have any problem
Guys maybe we can move the lengthy discussions on how to illicitly acquire the game to somewhere else as they might be used as an excuse to delete/lock the thread.
This is not illicit at all, this was suggested by EA during inquisition time 😂
@velvetassasinWe don't know what their current stance is as afaik they never suggested a similar course of action for Turkey 🙂 Mods have been altering/removing comments for way less, it would be a shame to lose 40+ pages of discussion to this
Where am i? is this EA support site? why they don't support customers...
HEY EA! i am a customer. You have to respond us ..What are you doin now?? just read the massage and sit and shut up??? what is goin onIf this is the nail in the coffin then frankly we have our answer and don’t need this thread anymore. If they’d shut us down over going out of our way to give them the full price (sometimes even higher) for their own game 🤷♂️
its been ages and not a peep from EA, in this thread or elsewhere. They clearly know about the issue by now. They’ll release information or a statement if and when they want only; not for us 🥹- @kampori Honestly at this point we are just venting here, even if the game is made available at some point I don't think there will be any explanation from EA
I don’t think EA is going to respond here. They have not bothered since Inquisition. They won’t bother now.
Whatever the sales from India, Turkey, MENA is miniscule to them compared to rest of the Europe, USA and Australia.
Either Keys for us or the high seas.

The corrupt and the wicked and do not falter.
Blessed are the peacekeepers, the champions of the just.”
- @Elicaryn Even if they do lock this thread, we'll just start over. I doubt it's going to stop anyone from commenting here. It will just infact * people off even more.

If we were in DA universe, desire demons were going to trick us with an offering of a copy of a DA:V 😭
you didnt understand ... I dont want an they tell why they dont sell the game. I want to know if it is going to sell or NOT. I BANNED FOREVER ?OR NOT BANNED? Then i can stop wait and search other solutions
- @MindcFlayer They won't give an answer. They don't care. They are selling FC25 everywhere, so the country is not banned. It's just like that for this game.
- Let's just hope they'll pull Hogwarts lagacy card and unlock it shortly before the release date
I think it's only banned in India just like Inquisition, they removed it from MENA stores, unlike Indian stores it was banned from day one.
So yeah, hopefully we will get it soon, they're selling all of their games in MENA with no issues, so why Veilguard would be an exception? @brogamer70They are not selling all their other games in MENA without zero issues tho, for example you can't buy DAI in Turkey through Epic Game Store or the EA app.
- @brogamer70 No, Veilguard was available for pre-ordering in India too for the first 30-45 minutes just like everywhere else before it was pulled alongside MENA. People here did actually manage to buy it in that window, and it even had proper reasonable regional pricing.
The issue we did have that the others didn't, is that the store page was made inaccessible to us before pre-orders opened up but after the game was first unveiled as Dreadwolf, which is why there's that post asking about India from much earlier in the year. So this whole preorder thing has been something of a emotional rollercoaster for those of us who were there for that.
Really at this point between what happened, and the store page changes that people are reporting on across the other sites, I don't think it's unlikely that they'll re-open it back up for everyone - MENA, Turkey, India, all of them (probably even Russia unless there's something involving sanctions). Maybe that's wishful thinking? But I don't think the signs are negative. What I do think is unlikely is us getting any sort of information in the meanwhile before someone makes that call to either make it available or decisively not to, unfortunate as that is. - @Elicaryn This is so weird. I'm from Egypt and I own the free DA: Inquisition giveaway on epic Store. My brother lives in Lebanon and he owns it on the EA app. If it's a problem only in Turkey and India, why can't I access DA: Veilguard through epic store then?"
