Still can't play..help?

IM pretty Im not the only one with this issue. I am so frustrated. It took me a week to get into the game. Now I have been able to play 3 times, from 15 to 45 mins, before it basically quits for the night. Its always the same 2 issues. I can't make heads or tails of what to do.

Every graphic setting is either off or low.

The laptop was purchased in June

Laptop info

Windows 11

Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13620H 2.40 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
Hardware acceleration, optimization is turned off.

In game interfaces are turned off.

Bios and graphics drivers are updated to the most recent.

DirectX is updated. The log file says no issues.

Im at a loss. Any suggestions?

  • Hey @shadoclaw It seems that you may be experiencing a DirectX or driver error. There are several steps you can take to address this issue.

First, I recommend performing a clean installation of your drivers and creating a gaming profile. You can find detailed instructions and additional information in this article on our website: https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/pc-graphics-troubleshooting/.

Additionally, try toggling the Game Mode on or off in Windows to see if it makes a difference:

    1.  Press the Start button, type "Settings" in the search box, and select "Settings."
    2.  Navigate to "Gaming," then click on "Game Mode."
    3. Toggle Game Mode on or off as needed.

Hopefully, these steps will help resolve the issue! Let us know how that goes.

  • I appreciate the advice. I actually did that already.  I did such a clean install I had all my graphic card files deleted using DDU.

I did that, I also have done 3 fresh installs of the game, 2 without and one with the patch.

Game mode is off. I think i will try it with it on
