Why no sundered

Looking through the list of (severely limited and lacking) companion and player skills, I noticed that the only ones that are able to apply the sundered condition are companions. At least for a mage player character, not a single one of the possible abilities have the "apply sundered" tag, only "detonate sundered". This makes the companion combinations possibilities where neither have an "apply sundered" ability very much weaker, and less likely to be chosen. Even though one might want to for story/roleplaying purposes.

My request is to first, please add an "apply sundered" ability to the player skills. And second, please expand the companion skill list, since it feels very much dumbed down and oversimplified.

Although it might not have been obvious from the feedback, I am very much enjoying the game! It would however be so much more enjoyable if certain elements of it were expanded upon. There really is no need to keep everything as simple as it is. There could simply be an option to simplify it in the settings, while adding the more intricate options to the main game. You could call that setting the "me no like use brain" option or maybe add an additional difficulty setting below the lowest one called "hand holding-mode".

  • Those skills are limited by class. Rogues can apply Sundered, and detonate Overwhelm. Warriors can apply Overwhelm, and detonate Weakened. Mages can apply Weakened, and detonate Sundered.

The player character is a little more flexible; a Warrior can learn to apply Sundered, a Rogue can learn to apply Weakened, and a Mage can learn to apply Overwhelm. But there are still limits. You won't be able to do all things on all classes, so you will have to rely on party composition if you want certain skills to be available.
