10 Character Limit? On a PC game? What?

I just ran into this as well and laughed a the absurdity. I deleted a few characters that I'd made and played for about 5 minutes (basically just getting certain looks into the game while deciding what I wanted to play). I've played through the game once with 80+ hard saves on that first character. My save folder is still only 12 MB, which is a trivial amount of space even on a smaller drive, so I don't think this is about space whatsoever. Having read some recent discussion of how the game was planned for live service (as evidenced by all of the beacons, lack of quick save, and how the game areas reset when you load). I suspect this character limit is a holdover; it sure reminds me of WoW's original limit on number of characters per server anyway.
