Hey, Rooks!
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I totally understand how frustrating it can be to experience graphical issues during key moments in a game.
After investigating, we found that the issue is caused by the 32:9 aspect ratio displaying more of the game world simultaneously, which exceeds the game’s item draw limit. This results in textures not loading, models blinking, and characters like Rook becoming, well... floating hair. There are too many objects on the same screen it can basically break the drawn-line limits of a game.
Unfortunately, the only way to avoid this issue is to lower the field of view (FOV) by switching to a 16:9 aspect ratio (like 2560x1440). OR something similar to your monitors technical ratios. Doesnt have to be this specifically. This reduces how much of the game world is displayed at once. This keeps the asset streaming stable.
I get it isn't the ideal answer for this situation, with the game's setup and the monitor itself, this is what it comes down to.
Thanks!
EA_ShepardCan the engineers not simply increase the item draw limit? I know it's feasible or are you telling me that the devs don't care about people who have a 32:9 monitor because we are the minority of the hardware pool?

it's not that easy. I am sure at some point they could but something like that would take time and with the patches they work on, they have a priority of what they have to work on and get pushed first. Sadly it isn't as simple as just having someone go in and change it.
