I'm still having an issue where my audio is cracking and full of static when in busy areas like the cities with NPCs. It does not happen in the lighthouse or crossroads but is very bad in the cities. I'm not sure how to fix this issue I've tried tinkering with the settings and it doesn't help. Any help appreciated!!
This is a well known issue that has been present for a number of people since launch. To the best of my knowledge there is currently no known universal fix. But, there are a few things that you can try that are mentioned in the thread I will link below. Also, as far as I am aware, there has been no indication that there is any fix in the works currently.
