Bug Report: Unable to start Profane and the lost

Question

I am playing on xbox, I can see Davrin to start the quest however when i click x to start the mission all i see is a black screen. Then after around 10 seconds i spawn next to the eluvian with Davrin and my other companion. The quest marker points to where i believe the cutscene that did not trigger should be taking place (The roundish room in grey hold).

Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated. I have tried quitting out of the game and reloading.

I’m on ps5 and I am also stuck, it is doing that exact thing

I’m having this too on PS5. I can’t get this quest to start at all. Has anyone got a fix?&nbsp;

if you do the quest for the grey wardens to kill the blight tree first and do not finish the follow on quest the game bugs.&nbsp; To get past it look for the follow on quest for evka and Antoine and finish it.&nbsp; The name of the quest is "somethings coming".&nbsp; you get it when you read the missive where they usually stand which is right next to the start the quest point for the lost and the profane.
