I'm on PC.
I get there. Neve and Rook are talking to Rana. Neve relights the orb and walks off. The scene ends. Cue black loading screen and then the usual error people get when they try to load most of their saves. It sends me back to the title screen. I've tried multiple times to complete this quest and verified all my files in case something got broken. It doesn't want to cooperate, and I cannot advance Neve's quest line without it.
For me, it helped to reload the save before previous completed quest (for me it was Lucanis'), and do Neve's quest first
Here's how I got this quest to complete without bugging: I was taking Lucanis and Neve to do this quest. When we got to the area, I would complete the rites with Viper first and THEN talk to Neve. At the completion, I would get the Loading Bug and have to re-do the quest.
What I changed: I took Emmerich instead of Lucanis. I then talked to Neve FIRST, completed the quest, and went back to the Lighthouse. I saved the game and took Neve and Emmerich back to the Memorial Wall of Light to talk to Viper to complete the rites, getting Neve's approval.
I don't know if swapping out Lucanis did anything, just wanted to add that incase it did. I do believe talking to Neve first and THEN do the rites fixed it. Hope this helps someone.
