Cant link account to EA services

Everytime i try to link account to ea services it comes up with the same message to reset my password, informing me my login credentials have expired so i need to reset my password. Having done this at least twice already it continues to come up every time i try. I am not sure what to do. 

I am using a PS5, connection is fine and have a upto date EA account (this one)
