I came here from the closed thread on the Forum here.
Installed the game (Steam) for the first time after the latest patch came out and during the Prologue I found that half of the sounds are missing from the game. No water sounds, no enemy sounds, silent looting, etc. The surroundings sound haunted in general. I can hear the dialogues, music, and how characters breath and walk, though.
I've tried all possible audio settings, reinstalled the Realtek audio and Nvidia drivers. No sound issues in other games I play.
I really hope the issue's gonna be addressed...
